Technology Overview

The Sutton Tech team is committed to equipping teachers, students, and administrators with the essential tools and resources for a successful 2025–2026 school year. Our mission is to support educators in creating a transformative learning environment that is inclusive and engaging for all learners.
Technology Support for the 2025–2026 School Year Will Include:
- Equipping educators with the skills and knowledge to independently integrate technology into their classrooms.
- Ensuring compliance with HISD and federal copyright policies.
- Maintaining the functionality of instructional devices, including laptops, interactive white boards, projectors, and more.
As of July 1, 2025, the HISD IT Service Desk has transitioned to a new support model for the 2025–2026 school year. You now have access to a variety of self-service tools, automated support, and AI-driven solutions to assist with your technology needs.
Password Reset
- Staff can reset their passwords using the Ask IT Password Reset tool. The HISD service desk is no longer available to reset staff passwords.

The HISD Solution Center
Explore the HISD Solution Center for a wealth of resources, including quick reference guides, training materials, FAQs, and how-to videos. These resources are designed to help you troubleshoot and learn independently.
Connecting Clever Touch Boards:
Go to the "Software Center" icon on your desktop. Search for "Clever Share". Install and follow the steps to connect your laptop to your board.
Troubleshooting:
The district has created a chatbot specifically for HISD with possible solutions to technology issues.
